Roberta Fontana

Roberta made her first dance steps at the Balletto Nazionale Italiano and deepened her studies at the Balletto di Roma with internationally renowned instructors. She studied in Paris, London and New York where she developed her own style and then turned to modern dance. Her personality made it possible for her to perform for Italian Television where she danced in diverse productions. Presently she works as a choreographer for many theatre and video productions and as an instructor in numerous international workshops.

In her work, warming up and diagonal movements will be followed by a choreographic part with dynamic work, fast direction changes and big movements. Teaching technique is her way to get to harmony, expression, rhythm and emotion.
