Dheeraj Asarfi

Dheeraj Asarfi studied jazz, and musical comedy at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK). He had, among others, appearances in the musicals “Fame” and “West Side Story” as well as with the Dutch company Djazzex. His teaching is based on the classical technique and various modern styles, such as Graham, Horton and release technique.

His classes are very dynamic and involve a lot of energy. In his work, he incorporates timing, flow, and interpretation of music as well as poetry. For him expressing one’s passion in dance is still the most important thing, and that is what he is always trying to convey in his teaching.
