Maria Blahous

After completing her Musical-Instruction in Vienna, Maria Blahous expanded her studies in Los Angeles/USA in Tap, Jazz and Musical Dance. Among other commitments, she is an instructor and choreographer at the Performing Center Austria and at the Vienna City Conservatory. A member of the “Fiftysix Company/Austria”, she also works as a choreographer for various television shows for the ORF. She works with many internationally renowned and style defining artists.

Her style is a mixture of Rhythm-Tap and musical Show-Tap. Starting with simple rhythmic tap step combinations, a spirited Tap Dance choreography evolves towards the end of the lesson. In her Musical Dance course, the Austrian dancer will work together with the students on dance steps from various musicals.
