Caroline Meyer-Picard

Carolin Meyer-Picard, stage dancer, choreographer and Pilates instructor, finished her dance training at the Conservatoire Nationale Supérieur de Paris in 1990. As a dancer, she collaborated at the “Béjart Ballet Lausanne” with its director Maurice Béjart in many performances. After meeting the choreographer Maguy Marin in 1994, she developed a new, more personal relationship to her work. In the space of five years, she has studied the relationships between dance, music, and theatre. In 2003, she moved to Berlin, where she has worked with Felix Ruckert, Sommer Ulrickson, Eun Me Ahn, Tchekpo Dan Agbetou, Arthur Kuggelynn, Maren Witte, and Martin Stieferman. Since 2004, she has increased her work on her own choreographies.

She has been a qualified Pilates-Instructor for the “Classical Method” and “Pilates during Pregnancy” since 2009.
