Bruce Taylor

Modern Jazz
USA/France

He´s back! The American dancer, choreographer, and extremely committed teacher Bruce Taylor is a very popular instructor - due not least to his sensuous, flowing style of movement and his humorous personality. In his dance style, he unites Modern Dance with the expression and energy of Jazz Dance and finds looseness and energy equally important.

Taylor’s Jazz Dance style is influenced by his studies with Alvin McDuffie, Majorie Mussman and Peter Goss. The elegant dynamic dancer was, i.a., a member of the Elisa Monte Dance Company and Agnes DeMille Heritage Dance Theatre and directs his own company “ChoréOnyx” in Paris. The well renowned choreographer is also employed as an instructor for the “Ecole de Danse” at the Paris Opera.
